Fishing Camp

About The Fishing Camp

Join the Virginia Key Outdoor Center for a unique Saltwater Fishing Camp. Participants will learn from experienced fishermen and women! This week long camp is filled with hands on educational instruction to help create a solid foundation for responsible young anglers. This camp is designed so anglers of every skill level will have a fun and rewarding time. 

Activities & Curriculum

  • Guided shoreline fishing everyday

  • Kayak Fishing

  • Fishing instruction, rigging and knot tying

  • Cast Net Basics

  • Fillet Technique 

    • Campers will keep their catch and have it filleted to bring home.

  • Marine Conservation

  • Species ID

Summer 2022 Schedule

  • June 13th - 17th (Session A)

  • June 27th - July 1st (Session B)

  • July 18th - 22nd (Session C)

  • July 25th - 29th (Session D)

  • August 8th - 12th (Session E)

Pricing & Details

Early Bird Pricing (03/01-04/01) - $370

General Pricing: $430.00

Fishing Camp is open to children Ages 8 and over. Small Group Sizes. Limited Capacity

 

Hours: Camp hours are 10am to 4pm

Early drop Off 8:30 am and Late Pick Up 6pm

​

Lunch is available at an additional cost of $45 per week.
