Ride the Virginia Key North Point Mountain Bike Trails with VKOC
Enjoy over nine miles of cross-country trails. The Virginia Key Mountain Bike Trails offers riders a unique experience to visitors and residents of the Greater Miami Area. Over 12 years ago, Bernard Riviere (better known as Frenchy) started building the Virginia Key Bicycle Trails (VKBT). The trails are 100% made and maintained by volunteers of the Virginia Key Bicycle Club. They have logged over 32,000 volunteer hours since 2012. That is more than any national park has ever recorded! What started as just a handful of avid riders and Frenchy has become a club boasts over 450 dedicated members.
Not only are the trails named after old school rock songs such as Bad to the Bone and Highway to Hell, but there are trails for riders with different skillsets. Green Trails are for beginners, Blue Trails are adaptive and intermediate riders, and Black trails are for more advanced riders. There’s much to see and do inside the Virginia Key Bicycle Trails. There are always new things being added. Enjoy the best mountain bike trails in Miami. Come out and ride the trails; you won’t be disappointed!
