The Trails
Trail selection is done at the discretion of the Tour Guide
The Mabel Fentress Miller Walking Trail offers a means to relax for a while and get in touch with nature. This is a 1.5 mile trail loop and is ideal for beginners and small children. The Mabel Fentress Miller Walking Trail is a shaded walk through a coastal hammock with soft sandy trails in some parts and beautiful ocean views.

The Virginia Key Bicycle Trails offers over 9 miles of trails. The guided hike will only cover 2 miles worth of trails. Some parts of the trails are shaded and very rocky. There is a decent amount of elevation and depending on the specific trail we walk through, there may be moments were participants may have to get on and off wooden features such as ramps and stairs.

The Jimbo Trail is an unmarked trail that begins across the street from the Virginia Key Outdoor Center. Depending on the tides, portions of this trail may be underwater. Participants can expect to walk through shallow water and witness a thriving mangrove ecosystem up close. This trail eventually connects to the north point beach and participants will have an excellent view of the Miami Skyline and the port of Miami. This trail route is 2 miles long and has uneven terrain in certain areas and parts of the trail have soft sand.
